Erfolgreiche Revision vor Kronenversorgung
Zahnerhalt trotz Wurzelentzündung
Befund: Bei der Vorbereitung eines Zahnes für eine Krone wurde eine Entzündung an den Wurzelspitzen entdeckt. Das Röntgenbild zeigte eine Entzündung an der palatinalen und mesialen Wurzelspitze.
Zahnmedizinische Versorgung: Die alten Wurzelkanalfüllungen wurden entfernt, alle vier Wurzelkanäle gründlich gereinigt, desinfiziert und medikamentös behandelt. Nach mehreren Terminen wurden die Kanäle abschließend gefüllt und der Zahn mit einer hochwertigen Kunststofffüllung verschlossen.
Behandlungserfolg: Der Zahn konnte erhalten werden. Schmerzen traten keine auf. Der Zahn konnte wie geplant überkront werden.
