Erfolgreiche Revision vor Kronenversorgung
Zahnerhalt trotz Wurzelentzündung
Befund: Bei der Vorbereitung eines Zahnes für eine Krone wurde eine Entzündung an den Wurzelspitzen entdeckt. Das Röntgenbild zeigte eine Entzündung an der palatinalen und mesialen Wurzelspitze.
Zahnmedizinische Versorgung: Die alten Wurzelkanalfüllungen wurden entfernt, alle vier Wurzelkanäle gründlich gereinigt, desinfiziert und medikamentös behandelt. Nach mehreren Terminen wurden die Kanäle abschließend gefüllt und der Zahn mit einer hochwertigen Kunststofffüllung verschlossen.
Behandlungserfolg: Der Zahn konnte erhalten werden. Schmerzen traten keine auf. Der Zahn konnte wie geplant überkront werden.

Pochende Schmerzen bei starker Entzündung
Wurzelbehandlung vermeidet Extraktion
Befund: Der Patient hatte pochende, drückende Schmerzen, die sich in den letzten Tagen verschlimmert hatten. Das Röntgenbild zeigte eine Entzündung an der mesialen Wurzelspitze des betroffenen Zahnes.
Zahnmedizinische Versorgung: Drei Wurzelkanäle wurden gereinigt, gespült und mit Medikamenten behandelt. Aufgrund der starken Entzündung war eine Antibiotikagabe nicht vermeidbar. Nach mehreren Terminen wurden die Kanäle gefüllt und der Zahn wieder mit einer Füllung verschlossen. Zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt erfolgt die Überkronung des Zahnes.
Behandlungserfolg: Schmerzfreiheit, Zahn erhalten – keine Extraktion notwendig.

Tooth Preservation Through Targeted Root Canal Treatment
Clinical Findings: The patient presented with throbbing and pressure-related pain. Radiographic examination revealed inflammation at the apex of the palatal root.
Dental Treatment: All four root canals were thoroughly cleaned, irrigated, and treated with intracanal medication. Following several treatment sessions, the canals were permanently filled and the tooth was sealed. Definitive restoration with a crown is planned at a later stage.
Treatment Outcome: The tooth was successfully preserved, symptoms were resolved, and the patient is pain-free.

Deep Caries with Pulp Involvement
Tooth Preservation Through Early Root Canal Treatment
Clinical Findings: During a routine preventive examination, deep caries in close proximity to the dental pulp was detected in one tooth. Despite the advanced stage of decay, the patient reported no symptoms.
Dental Treatment: During caries removal, exposure of the dental pulp could not be avoided. All four root canals of the affected tooth were carefully prepared, irrigated, and treated with intracanal medication. Following several treatment sessions, the canals were permanently filled and the tooth was sealed with a composite restoration. Definitive crown restoration is planned within 3 to 6 months.
Treatment Outcome: The tooth was preserved, the caries was successfully treated, and the patient remains pain-free.

Zahnmedizinische Versorgung: Vier Wurzelkanäle wurden sorgfältig aufbereitet und gespült. Nach mehreren Terminen wurden die Kanäle gefüllt und der Zahn verschlossen. Spätere Überkronung des Zahnes.
Behandlungserfolg: Zahn erhalten, Schmerzfreiheit.

Tooth Preservation Despite Complex Root Canal Anatomy
Clinical Findings: The patient presented with severe throbbing pain. Clinical tests and radiographic examination confirmed an irreversible inflammation of the dental pulp.
Dental Treatment: All three root canals were carefully prepared and disinfected. Due to narrow and calcified canals, the procedure was technically demanding but was completed successfully. After several treatment sessions, the canals were permanently filled and the tooth was sealed. Definitive crown restoration is planned at a later stage.
Treatment Outcome: The tooth was preserved, the patient is pain-free, and further complications were successfully prevented.
